Leader or Follower
Real Talk Vol. 29
Leadership isn’t about a title.
It’s about how you move through life.
Leaders take initiative.
They don’t wait for permission to become who they already know they’re meant to be.
They think ahead.
They plan.
They ask better questions instead of waiting for instructions.
When problems show up, they don’t panic.
They look for growth.
They look for solutions.
They look for the lesson.
Leaders make decisions even when it’s uncomfortable.
They take risks.
They own their mistakes.
And instead of spiraling, they learn and adjust.
They hold themselves accountable first.
They don’t blame timing, people, or circumstances for everything that doesn’t go their way.
Followers wait.
They wait for direction.
They wait for validation.
They wait for someone else to decide what’s next.
They stay in comfort zones because growth feels risky.
They focus on tasks without thinking about the bigger picture.
They complain about outcomes they never took responsibility for.
And here’s the thing.
Neither role makes you a bad person.
But only one leads to expansion.
Leadership starts with self-trust.
With initiative.
With the courage to move even when the path isn’t fully mapped out.
You don’t need to lead everyone.
You just need to lead yourself.
Your life will follow.
