Becoming Her, Intentionally
Real Talk Vol. 28
Lately, I’ve been thinking about the woman I’m becoming.
Not in a rushed, fix-everything-at-once way.
But in a soft, intentional, day-by-day kind of way.
She’s sophisticated.
Not loud. Not flashy.
Just polished, grounded, and sure of herself.
She’s respected.
Because she speaks with intention, keeps her word, and does not overexplain her worth.
She’s fashionable.
Not because she chases every trend,
but because she knows what works for her
and wears it like confidence.
She’s an expert at something.
Not a know-it-all, but a know-her-stuff kind of woman.
Trusted. Skilled. Taken seriously in her lane.
She’s successful.
Not just financially, but emotionally.
Her life makes sense to her.
She’s at peace.
Not because life is perfect,
but because she protects her energy like it matters.
She’s creative.
She writes. She dreams. She builds.
She lets curiosity lead without needing permission.
And most importantly, she’s happy.
Not performative happy.
Real, grounded, content-in-her-own-skin happy.
I’m not rushing her.
I’m not forcing her.
I’m becoming her on purpose, not by comparison.
One boundary.
One decision.
One outfit.
One brave choice at a time.
And honestly,
I already see her.
