Real Talk Vol. 34
There’s a way I move through life.
A way I carry myself. A way I prefer things to be.
And I’m fully aware of that.
But I don’t expect everyone else to move like me.
I don’t assume people should think like me, choose like me, or operate like me.
I let people be exactly who they are. Fully. Unfiltered.
I don’t correct it. I don’t challenge it.
I don’t try to reshape it into something that makes more sense to me.
I just notice it.
The way someone speaks. The way they handle things.
The way they show up when it actually matters.
The little things start to stand out.
The patterns. The inconsistencies. The shifts.
I see it. And I take note.
Not to judge. Not to react.
Just to understand what I’m dealing with.
Because everything tells you something, whether people realize it or not.
And once I see it, I don’t ignore it.
I don’t explain it away or go back and forth trying to make it fit.
I just adjust.
Quietly.
No announcements. No confrontation.
No sudden cutoffs or dramatic exits.
Just a shift.
In how I engage. In how much access you have.
In how I move around you moving forward.
You might not even notice it right away.
But I do. And that’s enough.
Some things don’t need a reaction. They need awareness.
And once I’m aware, I move accordingly.
